Colorado Sunset

Meet Margaret

Margaret likes to eat fresh pasture, hunt bugs, and lay deliciously nutritious eggs.

Road Trip Recovery Day

Not much sitting for the travelers today. Matt , Tiff, and uncle Jon kept busy from breakfast till supper. Uncle Jon got to see the greenhouse, meet the hens and baby broilers. I'll have to post some pictures so you can see how cute they are. The new water pump came today. So Matt just had to test it out for the sheer fun of watching it work. It is pretty cool. As the work day drew to a close the three muskateers finished fixing the suburban's oil and transmission issues and got the horses all settled in. Luke will meet the horses tomorrow. Aunt Patty and I went to town to pick up auto parts, groceries and painting supplies for the old farm house that is new to us. Hopefully we can get some painting done tomorrow. We have a lot to do before we are ready to move in.

Awaiting Tiff's arrival!

Yes it is late, or should I say early. Tiffany will be here any minute. She is my cousin from MN, and will be living and working on the farm. Her parents, my wonderful aunt and uncle are helping her drive her belongings(including two horses) out here. Definitely going to bed after they get all settled in.
