Welcome to the Creek!

We are excited to share our farming adventures with you!

Everyone's busy. With nearly 1,600 feathery young'uns to keep fed, watered and happy, (not including the forever curious Rhode Island Red laying hens), we are trying to get the old farm house painted, floors installed, and bathroom finished. You think hens get cranky when they don't have a fresh nest, you should hear the ladies. Although Alyssa and Tiffany are quite adapted to the fluctuations that accompany farming, the bathroom remodel has taken just a bit longer than they would have liked.

With a few side projects like building a mobile roost house (more on that later), Broiler pasture pens, range feeders, and a walk in freezer there isn't much time for construction.

We are looking forward to the
sunny, summer days at the farmers markets.

Till next time,

Matt
